Kaip Lloyd Associates is a full service architectural firm. We tailor our professional design services of architecture and interiors to meet the needs of our unique clients. As experienced designers, we know that a good project is well communicated, on time and on budget.

Our design process begins by acknowledging the client’s needs as defined by their program, schedule, and budget. We emphasize that design is a process that clarifies building options first “on paper” and before the construction begins. We continuously involve the client in that process. Together we discuss choices. We feel this method gives the client is a chance to make decisions with proper guidance, in a non-pressured environment. Our design service is translating a client’s vision and input into their built environment.

We provide the architectural design services for new construction, remodeling, and additions for Residential, Religious and Commercial/ Mixed Use clients. Our projects locations are: Chicago, Hinsdale, Park Ridge, the North Shore, Evanston, the Northwest suburbs, Barrington, Long Grove, Lake Zurich and others. We have also served Chicago Catholic Archdiocese, Joliet Catholic Diocese and other religious denominations.

Residential

Our Residential portfolio includes new construction, remodeling, renovations and additions for urban and suburban clients. We have customized design solutions for accessible multigenerational homes, Chicago bungalows, historic buildings, condos, screen porches, grandparents’ suites, home offices, kitchens and master suites.

Religious

We provide full architectural services, collaboration with other architects or limited design services for Religious/Educational projects. We have designed chapels, churches, social centers, schools, preschool remodels, computer training labs, specialized learning rooms and religious campus master plans. Other design services may include color palettes, liturgical design, and retrofitting for handicap accessibility and/or security issues.

Commercial/Mixed

Our Commercial/Mixed design projects include: small business offices, tenant build outs, medical offices, small retail, real estate offices, travel agencies, home based businesses, computer training centers, and training facilities for special needs users. Our interiors services may include finishes selection and furniture procurement.
